Description

This diagram illustrates the three types of parliamentary committees:

  • A House of Representatives committee is made up of members from the House of Representatives
  • A Senate committee ismade up of senators from the Senate
  • A joint committe is made up of senators and members from both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Each committee has representatives from both the government and the opposition.
