The PEO has been producing educational publications and resources for teachers and students since 1988. Our publications and resources are designed to reveal, explore, intrigue and intoxicate the mind and senses of the learner. They are also intended to support classroom teachers in creating democratic classrooms of children and young adults who learn to understand how Australia is governed.

PEO publications and resources are carefully constructed in layers of meaning so that all or part of a publication may be used at the appropriate age and stage of learning. Our resources visit and re-visit the major parliamentary concepts of representation, law-making, formation of government and accountability through play, fantasy, inquiry, simulation and immersion in the real thing. They are about influence and power, the Parliament and the people.
