Kidsview—Parliament in Focus is a sub-website of the Parliamentary Education Office website www.peo.gov.au. Kidsview challenges kids to explore parliamentary principles in a stimulating and educational environment. Content is arranged across five main themes: Representation, Law-making, Democracy, Parliament House and Parliamentary Treasures.

The Kidsview team believes that learning about parliament should be fun. Never boring! So, the site speaks to kids through a range of exciting learning objects and games which are interactive and educational; demanding but fun; multi-layered yet focused.

To assist teachers and parents in facilitating kids' on-line learning we have provided complementary teaching material. Created for upper primary students, Kidsview content will assist teachers and students in achieving SOSE/HSIE outcomes.

Kidsview was created in Macromedia Flash because of its capacity for designing and building rich multi-media in the form of interactive games and visually stimulating animations. You are currently viewing the non Flash version of Kidsview. You cannot interact with the non Flash version of Kidsview in the same way as you can in the Flash version. We have created this special version of Kidsview because we don't want anyone to miss out on this great material. Download the latest version of the Flash plug-in to view the interactive version of Kidsview. If you already have the Flash plug-in, go to the Flash version of Kidsview. The PEO is committed to improving the accessibility of our website, and we would like you to contact us if you have any issues accessing Kidsview.
